One of the Changes in Our Life

I am pretty sure that you have at least one sneaker, right? Do you know where your sneaker was made in? It was probably from China, Vietnam, or Taiwan. In the 1970s, because of the cheaper labor costs, almost all plants of athletic shoe left for Asia. However, in these days, many of them are coming back to the U.S. because the factories have high-tech like robots system, so the companies can save their money for workforce.
It usually takes months to deliver the shoes after it is made, so many companies try to reopen their factories in the U.S. According to Matt(2016), a sports industry analyst, "Brands want to move closer to the U.S. to get products to market faster". Reebok is going to open a laboratory in the U.S., and Adidas is also going to have the first plant, which will need only 150 employees. Even Nike which is the biggest company doing outsourcing is considering to have a manufacturing.
High-tech has been developed and it has given us not only better life, but big changes in our life as well. The time that we will see shoes made in the U.S. is not far away from now.

  2. I didn't know that some sneakers are made in US. My sneaker might be made here too!

  3. I wonder if this will cause our shoes to increase in price? It might be worth it if it means avoiding sweatshop labor and treating overseas workers very poorly.

    1. Yes, I agree with you! But I am not sure it will cause our shoes to increase in price, because they can save their money for the workers.
