1. According to Caixin Online (2014), a web site in China, hunger marketing is a skill that many businesses use to promote their product. Specifically, it stimulate consumers' psychology to make them have desire to get the products. There are two representative companies that use hunger marketing often; Apple and Xiaomi.

2. This is what Gordon, S (2016) said, 50 seconds after Xiaomi which is the third biggest smartphone company released their new model, the Mi Note 2, it sold out. The model became the fastest phone to sell out in the world. Actually, Xiaomi is known for a company that uses hunger marketing strategy and usually try not to supply enough comparing to demand.

3. Apple also use hunger marketing strategy often. We can easily see the people who are waiting in a long line when Apple release their new IPhones or IPads. According to Jones, L (2015), they follow these steps: "hold a press conferences -> announce the date of the first selling -> waiting -> news about new iphone -> queue overnight -> on selling -> supply shortage -> scalpers raise the price."

  2. I think you should focus on psychological causes of consumer decisions, as there is not a lot of reliable research on hunger marketing. You can save hunger marketing for our final project!
