Until 1863, after the independence of the United States, President Lincoln announced the Thanksgiving Day as a national holiday. In 1941, the United States Congress will be officially the fourth of November each year as "Thanksgiving". Thanksgiving holidays generally last from Thursday to Sunday. In addition to the United States, Canada, the world there are Egypt, Greece and other countries have their own Thanksgiving Day, but the UK, France and other European countries are not Thanksgiving.
